LR Partnership Events are relaunching STAFFORD WALKING STREET in Stafford the Market Square and the town centre on Thursday 9th July, 3 pm until 9pm. They are working closely with Stafford Borough Council to make the event as safe as possible for the general public, staff and stallholders, adapting to the government guidelines at the time of the event
Lorraine Conkey the organiser said;
We are delighted that as outside markets have been given the go ahead obviously everyone’s safety is paramount with the COVID 19 social distancing and hygiene will be in force in various different ways. We of course ask everyone who attending to be responsible to, lets enjoy the event but stay safe.
The regular mobile bars and street food vendors will be attending as well as some new and exciting editions. Peter Taunton Town Crier will be opening the event and Stafford FM Roadshow with radio presenter Ian Keeley hosting. Live music from local musicians in the Market Square with Reggae Winehouse and The Time Stealers as the main acts on stage, we cant wait, its going to be a fantastic day.”
What is STAFFORD WALKING STREET
In Thailand and many Southeast Asian countries they block off several streets usually on a Saturday or Sunday evening and everyone meets up, socialises, eat from the street food vendors and drink from the mobile bars and walk up in the pedestrianised area browsing the retail stalls and town centre shops and listen to musician and watch street performances

Q in the Park is back at Victoria Park Stafford. After a year out due to renovations (we moved to Stafford Cricket Club for Party on the Pitch in 2019). We are delighted that we will be back in the heart of the county town
Established in 2011 Q in the Park is one of the longest running FREE family festivals in the area, drawing thousands of visitors each year
With a great line up of live music, fabulous food vendors, mobile bars, performances by local groups, dance troop displays, story telling, martial arts demonstrations, rides, drum workshops, inflatables, bucking bronco. Mascots including Paw Patrol and North Staffs Stormtroopers
Amusements for all ages. So come and join in the fun, free entry and everyone is welcome

Annual Christmas Market at the White Eagle Club by local events organiser LR Partnership will take place Saturday the 7th of November, always one of the first Christmas Markets in the area bringing together the best in local businesses. Crafters, artisans and retail outlets, displaying their goodies for all those Christmas presents, decorations and unique ‘must haves’ you never thought you needed. With free admission and free parking, it’s an ideal choice for your Saturday afternoon of retail therapy and get together with friends and family as the bar will be open, BBQ and hot food available with cafe serving hot drinks
The doors of the Club will be opening at 12 o’clock until 4 pm, all rooms in the popular club will be bursting with 50 stalls indoors and outside
Santa will see all the children in his Grotto; he will arrive at 1 pm and leave at 3 pm (£4 per visit ) receiving a present and opportunity to have a ‘Selfie with Santa’

“The Christmas Market is not the usual type of event on the countdown to the festive season, not only is the day an opportunity to shop but we encourage visitors to come and stay for the whole afternoon and make it a family affair, 600 people attended last year, so there is plenty of food and drink to enjoy. We have bouncy castle to the rear of the building and of course face painter to keep the children happy, Bring your ‘wish list’ to Father Christmas and pop into the letterbox in the foyer of the club.
