Stafford Walking Street is back !
The Market Square and Town Centre will be the place to eat, drink and shop at Stafford Walking Street, something for all ages and tastes so make sure you place the event in your diary.
We have a cracking line up with Musical Theatre Stafford Juhi BhangraBlaze Stafford, Stafford Salsa and the amazing ‘saviours of soul’ The Lack of Commitments headlining. 🎸😎👨‍🎤🎭 Ian Keeley will be hosting along with the 107.3 Stafford FM Roadshow Team with all our fantastic street food vendors, mobile bars, retail stallholders and late night shopping. 👜🍕🍗🍡🥂🍻🥣🍿 entertainment in the local bars and clubs 🕺🍷🍸

We are delighted to announce that the first Cannock Walking Street will be held on St Georges Day 3-9pm in amalgamation with ‘Our Cannock’
In heart of the town centre
Everyone is invited to come along so spread the word !
Why CANNOCK WALKING STREET?
In Thailand they block off several streets usually on a Saturday or Sunday evening and everyone meets up, socialises, eat and drink and walk up in the pedestrianised area browsing
The times will be from 3 pm until 9 pm
The reasoning behind this is it’s school finishing time kids and Mums/Dads, can come after school and students after college. Retirees can enjoy the afternoon and be able to get buses in and out. From 5 pm you can catch a bite to eat after work and relax, then later on, those coming into town can enjoy for a couple of hours before moving to pubs

We have had a great success with Stafford Walking Street we wanted to bring the same fun filled event to Cannock
We will advertise what the pubs have on in the way of entertainment they have on in the evening whether its Open Mic Night, Quiz or Live music.
There will be live music from local musicians on the bandstand with presenters hosting from local radio station Cannock Chase Radio FM

Voted Best Staffordshire Music Festival 2019 by What’s On Readers and Special Recognition Award for Festival of the Year 2019 by The Mark (Pub news and live music guide), STAFFS FEST a popular annual music festival that has already made its mark on the UK music scene in the West Midlands attracting local, regional and national musicians and audiences from all over the UK. The festival which celebrates its fourth year in 2020 is held at Lower Drayton Farm, Penkridge near Stafford ST19 5RE Junction 13 on the M6
The festival has expanded over the last three years, now has several huge marquees hosting a multitude of genres of music, Rock, Britpop, Glam Rock, Pop, Folk, Reggae,Gospel, World Music and Soul. Northern Soul All Dayer DJs playing vinyl only on the Saturday in the Millie Bea Marquee with specially made wooden floor.

The festival is not one dimensional, in addition to the wide ranging live music on offer, there will be displays and workshops from local community groups including, Balliamo Belly Dancers, Dance Nuvo, Bhangra Blaze and Stafford Salsa plus drumming workshops, dance and guitar workshops. There will be a range of food and drink vendors and retail stalls, clothing and ethnic outlets.

A true family orientated festival where children under 16 are free with accompanying responsible adult (their tickets must be requested at the same time as paying adult). Workshops and child friendly activities planned during the mornings and afternoons

Evening only tickets £15, day/evening ticket £25, weekend ticket £50
Gates open Friday 22nd May at 4 pm and music starts at 5.00, 10.30 on Saturday 23rd and 12 noon on the Sunday, amplified music finishes at 11 am each night, bar is open until 12.30 am

We are delighted at LR Partnership Events to be taking over what was the Stafford Cheese and Ale event with Stafford Town Partnership and Stafford Borough Council. Renaming Stafford Autumn Fair ‘Experience the flavours of Staffordshire’ Saturday the 19th of September and Sunday the 20th bringing to Stafford Town Centre the delights we have to offer from Cheese, Ale, Gins, farm foods, great food, fabulous demonstrations from Slater’s Ales, Perrys Field to Fork, Lymestone Brewery and Hunnypot Cottage to name a few
We will have three huge marquees in the Market Square one housing the demonstrations, the second with food stalls and the third where various local bars and breweries will be serving their wares and you can sit and enjoy. We will have stage for live music and independent traders along Goalgate Street and Greengate Street

Christmas Market @ The White Eagle Club

Annual Christmas Market at the White Eagle Club by local events organiser LR Partnership will take place Saturday the 7th of November, always one of the first Christmas Markets in the area bringing together the best in local businesses. Crafters, artisans and retail outlets, displaying their goodies for all those Christmas presents, decorations and unique ‘must haves’ you never thought you needed. With free admission and free parking, it’s an ideal choice for your Saturday afternoon of retail therapy and get together with friends and family as the bar will be open, BBQ and hot food available with cafe serving hot drinks
The doors of the Club will be opening at 12 o’clock until 4 pm, all rooms in the popular club will be bursting with 50 stalls indoors and outside
Santa will see all the children in his Grotto; he will arrive at 1 pm and leave at 3 pm (£4 per visit ) receiving a present and opportunity to have a ‘Selfie with Santa’
Bring your ‘wish list’ to Father Christmas and pop into the letterbox in the foyer of the club. Please address to; Santa/Father Christmas, Santa’s Grotto, Reindeerland. XM4 5HQ. Enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope to receive a reply
Lorraine Conkey the organiser of the annual event said;
“The Christmas Market is not the usual type of event on the countdown to the festive season, not only is the day an opportunity to shop but we encourage visitors to come and stay for the whole afternoon and make it a family affair, 600 people attended last year, so there is plenty of food and drink to enjoy. We have bouncy castle to the rear of the building and of course face painter to keep the children happy, Bring your ‘wish list’ to Father Christmas and pop into the letterbox in the foyer of the club.
