Celebrate Staffordshire Day in the heart of the county town with a full day of entertainment, community spirit, and family-friendly activities in Stafford town centre. While the official Staffordshire Day falls on Friday 1st May, the main public celebration in Stafford will take place on the Bank Holiday Monday, making it easier for families, residents, and visitors to join in.
This town centre event will bring together a wide mix of street food traders, local businesses, community stalls, and interactive displays, creating a vibrant atmosphere throughout the day. The Vibe 1 Radio Roadshow will be broadcasting live from the event, providing music, entertainment, and hosting throughout.
A varied line-up of performances will keep visitors entertained, including Dappa Dance, Stafford Morris, Mark Trax DJ, The Pole Station, and Serenity Singers, with more updates expected as the event approaches. From traditional displays to modern performances, the day will showcase the diversity and talent within Stafford and the wider county.
As the county town, Stafford plays a key role in celebrating Staffordshire Day, and this event highlights everything that makes the area unique. It’s a great opportunity for local organisations, businesses, and community groups to connect with the public, promote what they do, and be part of a growing annual celebration.
Taking place in Stafford town centre and Market Square, this will be the first time the Staffordshire Day celebration is held right in the centre of town, bringing even more energy and visibility to the occasion. Traders and stallholders are invited to get involved, with booking enquiries managed via email.
Delivered by Staffordshire Cultural Events CIC and LR Partnership Events, in association with Vibe 1 Radio, Stafford Borough Council, and Staffordshire County Council, and supported by Carthy’s Accountant, this event is set to become a key date in Stafford’s events calendar.
